DESIGN PHILOSOPHY
Gardens should be more than just visually appealing — they should feel settled, immersive and instinctively right for the people who use them.
My work focuses on creating well-structured, carefully considered spaces, where strong layout and geometry are balanced by softer, naturalistic planting. Texture, light and movement all play a role in shaping gardens that feel both refined and relaxed.
Each design responds to the client and the character of the site. While no two gardens are the same, all share a clear underlying structure, a planting approach that supports biodiversity, and a restrained use of natural materials that complement their setting.
PROJECT APPROACH
Every project begins with understanding how you want to use your garden — how it needs to function day to day, and how you want it to feel.
From there, I look closely at the house, the existing features and the wider setting to ensure the design sits naturally within its surroundings.
The aim is always to create a garden that connects seamlessly to your home — one that feels comfortable, characterful, and genuinely enhances the way you use and enjoy your outdoor space.

Alongside my own projects, I offer freelance garden design support to studios, designers and landscape professionals.
I can assist at any stage of a project — from early concept development through to detailed design, planting plans and specifications. I work primarily in Vectorworks, producing clear, well-resolved drawings that support both design intent and construction.
